The 74th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences was held February 21st through 25th in Seattle, Washington at the Washington State Convention Trade Center. Kurt Weiss contributed to the Engineering and Applied Sciences section program.

His first submission co-authored with Mark Pozzi, and David Bosch, entitled, “Physical Evidence Demonstrating Poor Maintenance in the Cause of an Axle Fracture and Rollover Crash with Injuries,” was presented during Thursday’s session. His second submission co-authored with Parris Ward, entitled, “Event Data Recorder (EDR) Data and Forensic Video Analysis Defends Municipality in Civil Rights Lawsuit After Officer Forcefully Subdues Fleeing DUI Suspect,” was also presented Thursday.
