The 75th Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences was held February 13th through 18th in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Kurt Weiss contributed three submissions to the meeting program.

His first submission entitled, “A Haystack Falls and Injures a Dairy Farm Worker: Forensic Testing Used to Determine the Force Required to Topple the Stack,” was featured in Thursday’s Engineering and Applied Sciences session. His second and third submissions were presented in Friday’s joint multidisciplinary session with the Digital and Multimedia Sciences section; the first entitled, “On-Board Video Analysis Is Used to Defend a Truck Operator in the Case of a Pedestrian Killed in the Crosswalk,” followed by “Video Analysis Helps Defend Municipality in Bicyclist’s Impact With a Truck.”
