On November 16, 2021, Kurt Weiss was the featured speaker at the University of California, Santa Barbara. The presentation in ME11, Introductory Concepts of Mechanical Engineering, was arranged under the direction of Senior Development Engineer, Kirk Fields.

This year, Mr. Weiss’s presentation entitled, Traffic Collision Reconstruction: From Intake to Resolution, drew upon engineering principles and the methodology he often uses to reconstruct traffic collisions. He demonstrated the instruments and software he frequently uses during his analysis, and that he applied to one real-world, multi-vehicle collision.
